Is it hot or cold?
Colour the hot things red and the cold things blue.
Draw pictures of some hot things and cold things you can find in your school environment.
Some things are alive and some things are not. A living thing is something that can grow, use air and water, take in food, reproduce, move and eliminate wastes.
Go for a walk around the school ground and explore the many different types of creatures that live there.
Make a list of creatures you discover on your walk and where you found them.
All living things depend on other living things for survival. A food chain shows how food energy moves from one living thing to another. A tiger is part of a food chain.
An adaptation is a body part (called a physical feature) that helps an animal to survive in the wild. Animals are adapted differently to find and eat food to survive.
